For sales representatives

Share the catalogs you represent with the accounts you call on, without emailing spreadsheets.

A brand invites you into its InventaCloud workspace as a team member. From there you upload its files, build catalogs, invite the resellers you manage and approve their marketplace requests. Your name, email and phone travel with every reseller account you own.

No separate rep app · Access is always granted by the brand or supplier you represent

The rep workflow

The same workspace as the brand, with the access the brand gives you

Reps work through the brand's own workflows. Nothing here is a separate system to learn.

What the brand side looks like
  1. Get invited

The brand's owner adds you from Team as an owner, admin or member. Team sign-in uses magic-link invites and two-factor authentication.

  2. Prepare the brand's catalog

Upload the brand's file, map its columns with AI suggestions you approve, and build catalogs with include, exclude and price-adjustment rules, exactly as the brand would.

  3. Bring in your accounts

Invite the resellers you call on, by email or spreadsheet, and tick which catalogs each one gets. Requests that come through the marketplace land in the same workspace for you to approve or deny.

  4. Stay on the relationship

Purchase orders arrive from the catalog; acknowledge, fulfil, or deny with a reason. Each reseller has a message thread, and the activity log records every change with who made it and when.

Inside a brand's workspace

What a rep can do for the brand

Whatever the brand's owner allows for your role. These are the parts reps use most.

Files, mapping and media

Upload CSV, XLS or XLSX and map columns with AI suggestions and saved Column Patterns. Drop product photos into the direct upload inbox from wherever you are; validation shows which SKUs still have no picture.

Catalogs and rules

One file plus one rule set is a catalog. Build a dealer catalog and a distributor catalog from the same upload with include, exclude and price-adjustment rules, and rebuild when the file changes.

Invited resellers

Invite by email or spreadsheet, set per-catalog access as a checklist, and record the account number, payment terms and yourself as the sales rep on each account.

Marketplace requests

Resellers who found the brand on the marketplace request a specific catalog. Their request arrives with their profile; approve or deny each one, catalog by catalog.

Purchase orders

Orders arrive snapshotted from the catalog at the prices that catalog delivers. Acknowledge, fulfil, or deny with a reason, with email at every step and a thread per order.

Messages and the activity log

One thread per reseller with unread counts on the sidebar, and email replies that land in the thread. The activity log shows every change in the workspace with who made it and when.

Your accounts, on the record

Named on every account you manage

The reseller record is where the relationship lives: who the account is, what they can see, and who looks after them.

  • Sales rep name, email and phone. Each invited reseller carries the rep's contact details plus an account number and payment terms. The reseller sees those details on their purchase orders, and the brand sees who owns the account.
  • Per-catalog access. Tick which catalogs each account can see. A marketplace request is approved or denied for one catalog at a time.
  • Orders and messages on the same record. Purchase orders from your accounts arrive with a thread per order, and every reseller has a message thread with unread counts.
  • One login, many suppliers. If you also buy or manage accounts on the reseller side, one login holds access from many suppliers and switches between them from the sidebar. On the brand side, each brand invites you to its own workspace, and you switch between workspaces from the sidebar too.

What this is not

No separate rep app, and no access InventaCloud grants on its own

There is no rep account type and no rep subscription. A rep works inside a brand's workspace with the role that brand assigned, or on the reseller side with the access a supplier approved. If a brand has not invited you, you will not see its catalogs; a reseller sees a catalog only after the brand or supplier approves it.

Questions reps ask first

Before you ask a brand to invite you

Do I need my own InventaCloud subscription?

No. You work inside the brand's workspace on the brand's plan. The brand invites you from its Team settings as an owner, admin or member. There is no separate rep plan or rep account type.

Can I represent more than one brand?

Yes. Each brand invites you into its own workspace, and when you belong to more than one you switch between them from the sidebar. On the reseller side, one login can hold access from many suppliers in the same way.

Can the accounts I call on find me on the marketplace?

The marketplace lists catalogs, not people. A reseller browses the catalogs a brand chose to list and requests the one they want. The request lands in the brand's workspace with the reseller's profile, where you or the brand approve or deny it.
