JSON Integration

Structured JSON feeds for modern storefronts and apps

Custom storefronts, mobile apps, and integration middleware want structured data, not spreadsheets. InventaCloud delivers your published catalogs as clean JSON — shaped by each catalog's rules, complete with pricing, inventory, images, and status, and always reflecting your current data.

How JSON delivery works

  1. Catalog is the source Feeds are generated from your published catalog — after mapping, cleanup, and validation, never from raw vendor files.
  2. Rules shape each feed Each catalog's rules apply its products and pricing, so the JSON a reseller pulls already reflects the terms of the catalogs assigned to them.
  3. Consistent structure out Predictable keys and clean values — the fields your schema defines, including images, price roles, stock, and status.
  4. Stays current Feeds reflect the live published catalog, so consumers pull fresh data instead of caching stale exports.

Why teams use it

Built for developers

Predictable structure, clean values, and stable field names — the feed your storefront team asked for instead of the CSV they tolerated.

Commercial terms included

Each reseller's JSON carries their pricing and product set — no post-processing to strip products a partner shouldn't see.

Fresh by default

Price and stock changes land in the published catalog and flow straight into the feed — no export schedule to babysit.

Programmatic access

Pull JSON on demand from the portal or fetch it programmatically with scoped API keys for fully automated syncing.

Good to know

Authentication

Portal downloads use the reseller's authenticated session; programmatic access uses scoped API keys that can list catalogs and fetch catalog rows — and nothing else. Keys are issued and revoked per workspace.

Refresh behavior

There's no separate 'JSON sync' to schedule: the feed is a view of the published catalog. When imports or overrides change the catalog, the next fetch returns the updated data.

Common questions

Who typically uses the JSON feed?

Resellers with custom storefronts, teams feeding middleware or PIM-adjacent systems, and developers building on the catalog — anywhere structured data beats a spreadsheet.

Does the JSON include images and inventory?

Yes — image references, inventory quantities and restock information, pricing by role, and discontinuation status all travel in the feed alongside core product data.

Can I fetch JSON automatically instead of downloading it?

Yes. Scoped API keys allow automated fetching of catalog data for syncing into your own systems — see the API integration for details.
