Keep brand content consistent everywhere products are sold
You spent years building what your products should look and sound like — then watched partners retype it. InventaCloud makes the approved version the only version in circulation: one governed record for every product's titles, descriptions, attributes, and images, distributed so partners inherit your content instead of improvising it — with MAP controls keeping the pricing story just as consistent.
How brand content decays
Nobody sets out to misspell your product name in a listing. It happens because the correct version wasn't within reach.
Partners rebuild product names and descriptions from whatever file they have — typos, wrong specs, dead copy included.
Old packshots outlive every redesign because nobody knows which image is current — or where the current one lives.
Below-MAP listings and stray discounts undercut the brand's price position one partner at a time.
Every intermediary edits a little; three hops later the flagship product reads like someone else wrote it.
One approved record, inherited everywhere
Put the canonical version — names, descriptions, attributes, images, price roles — into one governed product record. Partners and channels draw from that record through controlled access, so your content arrives as published, current images travel with their SKUs, and MAP values travel with the catalog data partners receive rather than in an email attachment. When content changes, downstream surfaces serve the updated record once the update is applied.
The brand governance workflow
- Canonical content in Approved titles, descriptions, attributes, and images land on the central product record — with AI cleanup normalizing what arrives messy.
- Access, controlled Each partner sees exactly the products and price roles you approve — restrictions and exclusions carried by the catalogs you assign.
- Distribution, inherited Portals, downloads, and feeds all serve the same governed record — there is no second version to drift.
- Changes, accountable Price, inventory, and status changes are logged with history — what changed, when, from where — and supported batches can be rolled back.

Brand control in practice
The MAP role you publish rides in every partner's portal view and download, so the current floor sits beside their price everywhere they look — and you review calculated prices against it before sharing.
Exclusive lines stay exclusive: product restrictions per partner keep limited ranges, regional variants, and unreleased items invisible where they should be.
A rebrand or packaging update lands once on the record; partner surfaces serve the updated content after the update is processed — no chase-down campaign.
When a partner's price goes off-script, the logged price and status history shows what your record carried and when it changed — the conversation starts with facts.
Whether you sell direct or through manufacturers and distributors on InventaCloud, the governed record is the source their catalogs build from.
Partners discuss purchase orders in the order's thread, negotiate catalog access in the request thread, or reach you through direct vendor-reseller messages — with read tracking, instead of a shared inbox.
Common questions
How is this different from the manufacturers page?
Same platform, different job. The manufacturers page is about operating distribution — dealers, pricing tiers, orders. This page is about governing content: making sure the approved version of every product is the only version partners can get.
Partners keep using our old images. Does this actually fix that?
It removes the reason it happens. Images live on the product record and travel with the data partners pull — when you replace an image, every surface that references it serves the new one. The old file isn't circulating because no file is circulating.
Can we control which partners see which products?
Yes — per-partner product restrictions and exclusions are core Catalog Rules. Exclusive ranges, regional assortments, and pre-launch items are visible only to the partners you choose.
